Mozart in the South is a four day festival celebrating classical music in Charleston produced by Chamber Music Charleston.  The purpose of this festival is to raise community’s awareness and exposure to classical music opportunities in Charleston available for children and adults alike.  We also aim to create an exciting kick-off to fall classical music season and  provide the opportunity for all music-based arts organizations to promote their upcoming season.   

The festival will include two chamber music concerts, two chamber orchestra concerts and a large family/education event called the “Little Mozart Circus.”  While the primary performers in the festival will be musicians from the Charleston Symphony Orchestra and Chamber Music Charleston, we would like to invite all music organizations to have a presence in the festival.  For presenting organizations, we welcome you to distribute information on your upcoming season and even have representatives available at our main events to sell tickets and answer questions.  For educational institutions, we welcome you to participate in our “Little Mozart Circus” by staffing a table and distributing information about your offerings.
