Dylan Thomas' Christmas in WalesWales
Tuesday and Wednesday, December 22 and 23 at 7pm
Circular Congregational Church, 150 Meeting Street

Actors' Theatre of SC
and Chamber Music Charleston are collaborating again this year to bring back to Charleston the popular and engaging Christmas memoir of famous Welsh poet, Dylan Thomas.  Dylan Thomas’ Christmas In Wales is a dramatic reading of Thomas' 1955 beloved radio story A Child’s Christmas in Wales.  Thomas recreates the experience of an old fashioned picture book Christmas familiar to everyone, from snow ball fights and the delight of opening Christmas presents to Christmas dinner and Aunts who enjoy their drink a little too much!  Veteran stage and screen actor, Clarence Felder, portrays the author remembering his youth.  Chamber Music Charleston flutist Regina Helcher Yost, violinist Nonoko Okada and cellist Timothy O’Malley perform delightful arrangements of traditional carols in between Thomas’ musings.  Recommended for audiences 10 years and above.

Tickets: $17 each.
