Music Charleston presented a special Gala Chamber
Music Soiree at the OldExchange
Building,
122 East Bay Street.The elegant evening began with a champagne reception followed by
a chamber music concert in the Great Hall of the Old Exchange.Violinists Megan Allison and Frances
Hsieh, violists Katrina Smith and Nonoko Okada, cellist
Timothy O’Malley and french hornist Debra Sherrill performed Mozart’s
Horn Quintet in E-flat Major, K. 407 and Debussy’s String Quartet in g
minor, Op. 10.The evening
concluded with an elegant reception in the S.C.D.A.R room of the Old
Exchange.
