Join us as we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with a special program of music featuring musicians of Chamber Music Charleston and Luigi Bravo of Latin Groove.

Last year we were thrilled to have La Quin give Salsa lessons, International Ballroom Dance Studio provide a Tango demonstration with lessons, and Bomba y Plena de Puerto Rico by Jose & Luz wrapping up the evening. Check back in mid-September to see the complete line up of dances for this year’s fiesta!
And you won’t want to miss all of the food options that we will have! While we are still finalizing all of the Food Truck participants for this year, last year we had some of the finest cuisine from Central and South America, with food from RikiQuito (Venezuela), Patagonian Queen (Argentina), The Sugary Unicorn (Salvador), Diegos Empanadas (Argentina), La Madrina (Ecuador), Smoking Gringos (Tex-Mex), Antojos Vallunos (Colombia) and Las Aguas Charleston (Mexico)!
In addition to showcasing music and dance, this event aims to also brings awareness to the various cultural and civic organizations that interact with the Hispanic community. Visit our Cultural Esplanade to learn about all of the great events coming up with Chamber Music Charleston, Flowertown Players, and Summerville Community Orchestra. Learn about South Porch Artists Residency and the Cultural Arts Center currently in development. Visit some great Hispanic-owned businesses and artisans such as Lowcountry Homes Sales Team – CB Realty and Glossy Jewellery. Learn about all of the services offered by Charleston County School District Multilingual Services, Healthy Blue, Circulos de Bienestar, Latin Exchange Club, Circulo Hispanoamericano de Charleston, and more!
This family-friendly event is free and open to the public – so bring your children, parents, neighbors, and friends for an exciting evening to celebrate the launch of Hispanic Heritage Month!
