Public Health Update: The Coronavirus / COVID-19

Chamber Music Charleston is committed to the health and safety of our concert goers, volunteers and musicians.  All concerts and events are currently occurring as scheduled.  Should the need to postpone or cancel a performance arise, we will issue a notice on our website and inform ticket buyers via email and/or phone. Any decision to postpone or cancel performances  will be made based on verified information provided by the South Carolina Department of Health, the Center for Disease Control and the City of Charleston.

We are closely following the global situation, and are monitoring updates from SCDHEC, Center for Disease Control, and the City of Charleston.

For your reference, we have posted our ticket cancellation policy below.  We understand you may be thinking carefully about purchasing tickets for upcoming performances or may have concerns about your existing tickets. We appreciate your patronage and want you to know that the safety and well being of our audience members is a top priority for all of us at Chamber Music Charleston.  Please do not hesitate to contact Sandra at if you have questions related to your specific situation.

CMC Ticket Cancellation Policy

We understand that situations arise where you may find that you are unable to attend a performance.  In general, tickets to CMC events are non-refundable, but with proper notice (of at least two days prior to the scheduled performance) tickets may be exchanged for another performance or turned in for a tax-deductible donation receipt.  Exceptions may be made on a case by case basis.

If CMC finds it necessary to cancel or reschedule a concert, we offer our ticket holders the following options:

– We are happy to exchange your tickets for any remaining concerts of the current season or any concerts of the following season of comparable value, based on availability (if a performance is sold out, we are unable to offer you tickets for that performance).

– We can put the value of your ticket purchase into an account to use toward another performance this season or the following season.

– You are welcome to donate your ticket. As a nonprofit arts organization, CMC depends on the generosity of our donors for us to continue to bring high quality chamber music performances to the Charleston area.  We will greatly appreciate it if you donate your ticket back to CMC; you will receive a donation receipt.

For all other ticketing options, or to take advantage of the options above, please email
