HAYDN Piano Trio No. 39 in G Major, Hob. XV/25
GANGLBERGER Mein Teddybär for Bassoon and Piano Quartet
BRAHMS Piano Quartet No. 3 in c minor, Op. 60
The Salon Series concludes with the return of our good friends, violinist Amy Schwartz Moretti and pianist Phillip Bush, joining musicians of CMC for a program that brings us from the refined classicism of Haydn’s Piano Trio in G Major to the tempestuous and passionate romanticism of Brahms’ Piano Quartet in c minor. In between, we are treated to the whimsical Polka of “Mein Teddybär” from 1927, in a new arrangement for bassoon and piano quartet.
