The Chamber Music at the Pearl Series opens with a pogram of music for violin, cello, and piano that embraces the mystery and suspense of the Fall season. Violinist Frances Hsieh, cellist Timothy O’Malley and pianist Irina Pevzner perform Saint-Saens Danse Macabre and Beethoven’s “Ghost” Piano Trio for this casual evening performance of chamber music in West Ashley.

Violinist Daniel Ching of the Miró Quartet and cellist Alan Rafferty of the Cincinnati Symphony join CMC violinist Frances Hsieh, violists Ben and Jenny Weiss, and cellist Timothy O’Malley for two masterworks of the string sextet repertoire: Arnold Schoenberg’s groundbreaking “Verklärte Nacht” and Johannes Brahms’ masterful String Sextet in G Major.
