TIMOTHY O’MALLEY
Our annual January concert at the Dock Street Theater features returning guest violinist Anthea Kreston and pianist Phillip Bush for a pair of quintets from the Romantic period. The program opens with a raucous setting of three Hungarian dances by the Czech concert violinist and composer Franz Drdla (1868-1944) and concludes with Schumann’s masterful Quintet in E flat Major.
