TRADITIONAL Christmas Bell Suite
Step into the warmth of SC Society Hall for an afternoon where music and poetry illuminate the mystery and wonder of the Christmas season. François Couperin’s “La Françoise” unfolds with elegance and color, its movements interwoven with spoken poetry. Yeats’ “The Magi” is paired with Respighi’s luminous “L’adorazione dei Magi.” Longfellow’s “Christmas Bells” leads into a joyful suite of traditional Christmas music that brings the event to a festive, resonant close.
