Chamber Music Charleston is thrilled to welcome renowned violinist Philip Setzer, founding member of the legendary Emerson String Quartet, as guest artist for an afternoon of classical music at South Carolina Society Hall. The program begins with Beethoven’s String Trio in C Minor, Op. 9 No. 3, a bold and dramatic work showcasing Beethoven’s developing genius in the early years of his career. The concert continues with Mozart’s String Quintet No. 4 in G minor, K. 516, one of his most profound and emotionally charged chamber works, known for its haunting beauty and masterful interplay of instruments.
