Sundays in Charleston…
Attending a Sunday afternoon Chamber Music Charleston concert has become a cherished tradition – and this season, we have curated 14 different Sunday afternoon performances, each offering an exceptional musical experience in the beautiful venues Charleston has to offer.
Looking for the world’s top classical musicians performing alongside our very own local artists? Look no further than our Ovation Concerts, where violinists such as Stella Chen (performing on her “General Kyd” 1720 Stradivarius) and Arnaud Sussman (playing on his 1731 Stradivarius violin) join us for music of Mozart, Brahms, Beethoven, and Loeffler.
Prefer a more intimate venue where you can experience chamber music as originally intended, in a historic home, surrounded by a small audience of friends? Join us for one of our Downtown House Concerts at such historic spaces as the Governor Thomas Bennett House and parsonage of the French Huguenot Church.
And to round it out, we bring masterworks of the Classical and Romantic era to life in the historic ballroom of South Carolina Society Hall for our Salon Series – of which many of the performances are already sold out.
Join us as we continue our tradition of sharing exceptional concerts performed by an internationally acclaimed roster of guest artists alongside Charleston’s finest chamber musicians. We look forward to seeing you in the audience!
