Children will learn about the different instruments of a wind quintet as well-loved stories and songs come to life through music and images.</div> <div> “Ferdinand the Bull”, the focal piece of this performance, is American composer Mark Fish’s adaptation of the classic 1935 book “The Story of Ferdinand” by Munro Leaf. The quintet plays the music as narrator Nick Smith retells the story of Ferdinand, a gentle bull who would rather smell flowers than fight in a bull ring.
