The 2022-23 Ovation Concert Series opens with a return of our good friends from the Musica en Segura Festival in Spain, led by clarinetist Daniel Broncano. The 2022-23 Salon Series opens with a return of violinist Daniel Ching, member of the acclaimed Miro Quartet, performing in the historic Great Hall of South Carolina Society Hall. Guests may choose from an afternoon tea-time performance, or evening candlelight performance. Performing musicians include Daniel Ching and Frances Hsieh, violins; Jenny Weiss and Ben Weiss, violas; Tim O’Malley, cello.

THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS

Celebrate the most magical holiday season with a special Christmas Classical Kids Concert. Sing along to favorite holiday songs and listen as well-loved stories come to life with classical music. Musicians of Chamber Music Charleston and CMC TWO perform a variety of holiday music as actors retell classic Christmas tales such as “Snowman at Christmas,” “The Donkey’s Christmas Carol,” and “The Night Before Christmas.” The audience also becomes part of the performance as they join in for such well-loved holiday songs as “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer,” “Frosty the Snowman” and “Jingle Bells.”
