Join us as we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with a special program of music featuring acclaimed Argentinian Bandoneon player and composer JP Jofre, virtuoso violinist Francisco Fullana, and local musician Luigi Bravo of Latin Groove.

And don’t forget about dancing! La Quin will give Salsa lessons, International Ballroom Dance Studio will provide a Tango demonstration with lessons, and Bomba y Plena de Puerto Rico by Jose & Luz will wrap up the evening

All of the dancing and music is sure to make you hungry – and food trucks will be on hand to provide some of the finest cuisine from Central and South America. Enjoy food from RikiQuito (Venezuela), Patagonian Queen (Argentina), The Sugary Unicorn (Salvador), Diegos Empanadas (Argentina), La Madrina (Ecuador), Smoking Gringos (Tex-Mex), Antojos Vallunos (Colombia) and Las Aguas Charleston (Mexico)!

In addition to showcasing music and dance, this event aims to also brings awareness to the various cultural and civic organizations that interact with the Hispanic community, including Círculo Hispanoamericano de Charleston, Charleston Music Charleston, Latin Groove, and Summerville Parks & Recreation Department, Flowertown Players, Summerville Orchestra, and Sculpture in the South.

We will even have a demo area hosted by Bilu international Soccer Academy!

This family-friendly event is free and open to the public – so bring your children, parents, neighbors, and friends for an exciting evening to celebrate the launch of Hispanic Heritage Month!
