STUDENT TICKETS

We are pleased to provide $5 student/parent/teacher tickets to our 7pm Salon Series Concerts and $8 student/parent/teacher tickets to our 3pm Ovation Series Concerts.  Use the links below to purchase tickets.

High School students are invited to join us for a pre-concert talk and reception from 2:30-2:50pm prior to eah Ovation Concert.  Reservations required.  Click here to reserve your spot.

TURINA AND BRAHMS

The 2022-23 Ovation Concert Series opens with guest clarinetist Dominic Desautels and violinist Alejandro Bustamente joining musicians of CMC.  Guests who purchase section “A” seating receive a special invitation to the post-concert reception in the Barnet Courtyard.

The 2022-23 Salon Series opens with violinist Daniel Ching (of the Miro Quartet) joining musicians of CMC for an energetic program of music by Mozart and Mendelssohn.

The Ovation Concert series continues with Beethoven’s masterful Septet for Winds and Strings, led by violinist Anthea Kreston.  Additional performing musicians include Ben Weiss, viola; Tim O’Malley, cello; Mary Reed, bass; Charles Messersmith, clarinet; Sandra Nikolajevs, bassoon; Debra Sherrill Ward, horn.

SCHUBERT AND DVORAK

We are excited to welcome guest violinist Arnaud Sussmann and pianist Phillip Bush back to Charleston for a program of music from the Romantic era for piano and strings for the third Ovation Concert of the season.  Performing musicians include Arnaud Sussmann and Frances Hsieh, violins; Ben Weiss, viola; Tim O’Malley, cello and Phillip Bush, piano.
