WORKSHOP WITH VIOLINIST FRANCISCO FULLANA

Participate in a special reading of Vivaldi’s “Autumn” from the Four Seasons with Violin Soloist Francisco Fullana

From November 6-9th violinist Francisco Fullana will be in Charleston to participate in a residency with the Charleston County School of the Arts Sinfonietta,  culminating in a performance on Thursday, November 9th at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church.
While he is here, Chamber Music Charleston is offering a special workshop for accomplished string students to explore Baroque string music techniques while participating in a special reading of Vivaldi’s “Autumn” from the Four Seasons and “La Folia.”

Free mini-performance of Autumn from Vivaldi’s “Four Seasons” and “La Folia” will take place at 12:30pm.

9:30-10am: Arrival and Snacks
10am: Introduction to Baroque String Technique (Mr. Fullana)
10:15am: SOA Four Seasons Cellist and Mr. Fullana Rehearsal; String Ensemble with CMC Coaches
10:30am: SOA La Folia Soloists and Mr. Fullana Rehearsal; String Ensemble with CMC Coaches
11:15am: Break
11:30am: Rehearsal: Four Seasons and La Folia with Mr. Fullana
12:30pm: Final performance: Four Seasons and La Folia
